It's All in the Wrist

Are you getting sharp pains along the backs of your hands from being at the computer all day? Cramps in the muscles around the thumb on your mouse hand!

I had all these problems for months--and boy, was my husband sick of massaging my hand every night. I thought I'd share with you one single thing that can help with that. Make sure your mouse and keyboard are both low enough that you can hold your hands relatively level with your forearms while you're typing! Pretty simple, eh? I got a simple desk accessory--a mouse pad that clamps onto the desk, but the surface is 4 - 5 inches lower than the desk top--that has virtually eliminated the cramps.

Turns out our hand cramps are often caused by lack of circulation--which is what happens when your elbow is much lower than your hand. Sometimes it's as simple as replacing or adjusting your desk chair to a higher level to get you above the keyboard.

Anyway, if this helps just one person, I'm happy!
