Nancy Gideon        NANCY GIDEON, a.k.a. DANA RANSOM, ROSALYN WEST, LAUREN GIDDINGS: With 46 sales to her credit since her first publication in 1987, Portage, Michigan author Nancy Gideon's writing career is as versatile as the romance genre, itself (probably because she's a Gemini!) One month, it's researching the gritty existence of 1880's Texas Rangers only to jump to modern themes of intrigue and serial killers. Then it's back to the shadowy netherworlds of vampires and horror movie scripts. She's a Romantic Times Career Achievement Award for Historical Adventure and HOLT Medallion winner as well as a Waldenbooks, amazon.com and aol.com best seller. In-between, she's the former vice president and award-winning newsletter editor for Mid-Michigan RWA and is widely published in industry trade magazine. A full-time legal assistant and mother of two almost out of the nest boys, she spends her spare time taking care of a menagerie consisting of an ugly dog, a lazy cat, a tankful of pampered fish and three African clawed frogs adopted after a Scouting badge and a yard full of unruly flowers. Nancy begins her writing day at 4:30 a.m. while the family is still sleeping.

New for 2006: Nancy is thrilled to report the sale of two more Intimate Moments which will continue the Lone Wolf's Warrior unofficial series forward. Release dates aren't available yet, but tentative titles are WARRIOR WITHOUT A PAST and WARRIOR WITHOUT WINGS.

The first two books in this unofficial series, WARRIOR WITHOUT A CAUSE and WARRIOR WITHOUT RULES came out in 2005 from Silhouette Intimate Moments.

For more information, see her website at: www.tlt.com/authors/ngideon.htm or e-mail: ncgideon@msn.com.

Margo Hoornstra, a founding member of MMRWA       MARGO HOORNSTRA  had her first story published-in a grade school anthology-before she was ten years old. She currently writes romantic short stories published by The Wild Rose Press. "When the World is Right", her first, came out in January, 2008, to be followed by a new story each month all year, and, hopefully, some novels as well.

A founding member of Mid Michigan RWA, Margo dropped her membership in the eighties to, as she puts it 'go corporate' and take a job in public relations. When she finally came to her senses and returned to writing romance, she was thrilled to find the group still alive and thriving.
