Our March 2008 Program:Join us and our guest speaker MMRWA member Loralee Lillibridge for her talk, So Youre Published, Now What? Loralee will present an overview of how to deal with what comes next after making that first sale revisions, copy edits, deadlines and learning to promote your book - while continuing to write fresh, new stories that will grab an editors interest. After many years of writing, Loralee Lillibridge saw her first contemporary romance novel, ACCIDENTAL HERO, published in December 2005 as a Silhouette Special Edition. In NEORWAs Romancing the Novel contest, this manuscript won First Place and was requested by the final editor judge. From there, a contract was offered and the journey to publication began. A second novel has yet to find its way to publication, but Loralee continues to write and submit. |
This list will be updated as information becomes available. Meanwhile, if you have any questions about the meetings or how to get to the restaurants, email our Program Chair at: meetings@midmichiganrwa.org. Please put "Meeting Info" in the subject line!
